Love this place - ramen broth is so clean and delicious. Calamari is amazing as well. Our fav is shio ramen w egg and no spicy stings - add spicy katana instead

We've been looking for tsukemen in the bay area. After combing through the many ramen shops, we decided on Ramen Taka this week (Orenchi was underwhelming last week). The last time we came here was 6 years ago before our trip to Japan. Although it wasn't memorable, that's not to say it wasn't good. The location is a bit far off for us and we didn't know about the big parking space in the back last time. On to the tsukemen. From first glance it looks great. Broth looks thick, noodles look al dente and they even have the soup wari to help you finish it off. The first I've seen in the US. It does run on the saltier side but overall I'd say this is a solid tsukemen and one I can recommend to friends.

Not crowded, good food. My son love their fried chicken curry rice. Their fried calamari is really good. They also have beer combo, drink+ chicken wing is only 9.99. Pretty good deal.

"If you crave a basic bowl, Ramen Taka makes you whole." With the proliferation of flashy ramen shops across the Bay, Taka has carved out a niche for itself as a purveyor of solid, basic noodle soup. Said noodles are super firm by default. Said soup is satisfying and competent, although the egg is unremarkable. The gyoza is quiet and gets the job done. There is nothing flashy here -- but the full house on a Friday night speaks to the quality of Taka's product and the reasonable prices. A+ service and ambience as well. The groovy blues rock and modern soul music playing over the PA evoke fond memories of visits to plenty of ramen shops in Tokyo. This is a great little neighbourhood gem. True score: 8.7 Return? YES

Tsukemen had nice sauce! A bit on the thicker and salty side of sauces. The Tonkatsu broth was light and tasty. Both noodles were aldente. Great service and plays a lot of bangers
